There are two Nomads. The first was a lesser known Texas garage rock band from the 1960s.The second is a Swedish rock band whose original members were Hans stlund (guitar), Nick Vahlberg (bass/guitar and vocals) and Joakim Trnstrm (guitar/bass). With drummer Ed Johnson they cut their first single "Psycho" in 1981. Their first album, the mini-LP "Where the Wolfbane Blooms" followed in 1983. The band arguably has made a greater impact overseas than in their native country with their uncompromising guitar-based rock in the tradition of The Hives, Sator, Hellacopters and Backyard Babies.
